Montreal’s Cinémathèque québécoise is celebrating Italian cinema by bringing twenty-one classic Italian films to the big screen. The series, entitled Rome, ville de cinema, runs until May 13. The films are being shown in their original version, with French subtitles. Considering the lackluster selection of new releases out in theatres now, a trusty Italian classic might just do the trick.

The Cinémathèque québécoise is located at 335 De Maisonneuve Est, east west of St-Denis. Tickets are just $7.00, and $6.00 for students.
