Not So Nice Italian Girls ask “What Is a Man?”

      Jun. 22, 2011

“Italians Girls” may have been reputed to be oh so nice, but don’t believe everything you hear. For a few years now, The (Not So) Nice Italian Girls have been promoting the work of Italian Canadian writers and poets via readings and events. The group is based out of Toronto, and lead by writers Giovanna Riccio and Michelle Alfano.

Their next reading is taking place tonight (June 22, 2011) in Toronto, at Annex Live, located at 296 Brunswick Ave, just south of Bloor.

Entitled “What Is a Man?”, the evening will feature prose and poetry readings by Valentino Assenza, Rocco de Giacomo, Luciano Iacobelli, Pasha Malla, Jason Paradiso, and Sam Pupa.

The readings start at 7:30PM, but folks are encouraged to come earlier to socialize and grab a bite.
