Members of the Association of Italian Canadian Writers (AICW) will be at Montreal’s Italian Week all weekend long. The “Writers’ Tent” – at the corner of St Laurent and Mozart in Little Italy – will feature a variety of books written by AICW members. The books are available for sale.

Also throughout the weekend, the Writers’ Tent will feature the Meet The Writers series, an opportunity to meet Italian-Canadian authors one-on-one. Each hour a different writer will be featured in the tent.

On Saturday at 1:30PM, the AICW hosts Readings In The Park in the Gazebo at the corner of St Laurent and St Zotique with Ralph Alfonso, Licia Canton, Anthony D’Addese, D.C. Iannuzzi, Ilona Martonfi, Albino Matano & Michael Mirolla.

Also on Saturday in the Gazebo, this time at 3:00PM, the AICW presents a panel discussion on the internment of Italian Canadians during the Second World War.

The Writers Tent will be open today (Friday, August 12) from 5:00PM to 10:00PM, and then Saturday and Sunday from 12:00PM to 10:00PM.
