      Montreal’s Italian Week – Day Seven

      Montreal’s Italian Week continues its tour of Montreal parks with a stop at Wilfrid-Bastien Park in St-Leonard. The entertainment gets underway at 7:30PM with comedian Joe Cacchione and musical guest Giuseppe Rubbo. At 8:30PM Brigitte Pace will take the stage, followed by VU. Also on site will be a parade of Fiat 500 cars as well as community group kiosks.

      Tonight at 7:30PM at the Leonardo da Vinci Center, McGill Professor Matteo Soranzo, in collaboration with the Quebec Association of Professors of Italian, is hosting an evening with southern Italian author Michele Lapentina. He will be presenting his book, Dimmi da dove vieni.

      The Federico Fellini Film Festival is nearing the end with just two more scheduled screenings. Tonight, I Vitelloni screens at the Casa D’Italia in Little Italy. Tomorrow (August 16) La Dolce Vita screens at the Leonardo da Vinci Centre in St-Leonard. Both screenings start at 7:30PM and admission is free.

      Starting tomorrow (August 16) at 4:00PM until Sunday evening, the festival takes over Little Italy.
