      Montreal’s Italian Week 2014 – Day Four

      Marina: The True Story of Rocco Granata Ville LaSalle is the place to be today for day four of la Settimana Italiana di Montreal

      Ouellette Park, situated at the corner of Serre and Robert streets, will place host to an evening of entertainment. Performances by Dolceamare & Friends, Marco Bocchicchio and Mike Melino start at 8:00PM. Also on hand will be a colorful display of Fiat cars and information kiosks featuring various community groups.

      Free film screenings continue at both the Casa d’Italia (505 Jean Talon Est) and at the Theatro Piccolo at the Leonardo da Vinci Center (8370 Boulevard Lacordaire). Tonight’s schedule includes Franco Zeffirelli’s La Bisbetica Domata at the Casa d’Italia and Marina: The True Story of Rocco Granata by Stijn Coninx at Leonardo da Vinci. Both screenings start at 7:30PM and admission is free.

      Marina follows the story of internationally acclaimed Italian-Belgium singer/songwriter Rocco Granata who brought the infamous song to life… Marina, Marina, Marina, Ti voglio al più presto sposar…
