Between 1925 and 1996, Italian artist Guido Nincheri’s Montreal East studio produced over 5,000 stained glass windows for churches and establishments across North America. After his retirement as an educator, Roger Boccini Nincheri began to photograph and catalog his grandfather’s sketches and stained glass work. His goal is to photograph all 220 churches in North America that feature his grandfather’s work, and to match those works to the sketches found in the Nincheri Studio. At last count, he has visited 120 churches.
